The Akshardham Temple, located on the banks of the Yamuna in New Delhi, is a modern marvel of Indian architecture and spirituality. Inaugurated on 6 November 2005 by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the temple complex is dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan and reflects the traditions of ancient Hindu culture and timeless values. Built with pink sandstone and white marble, it is one of the worldβs largest Hindu temple complexes.
