Dr. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai (1919–1971) was an Indian physicist, astronomer, and visionary who is widely regarded as the "Father of the Indian Space Program". He founded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and was instrumental in developing India’s nuclear power program.
Sarabhai believed that space technology should be used for the benefit of society, especially in education and communication. His leadership and vision laid the foundation for India’s achievements in space exploration.
